Meet Dr Rhiannon Harvey
DMD (USYD), BSc/BCom (UNSW)
Dr Rhi grew up in Newcastle before moving to Sydney to study, graduating from the University of Sydney with a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Before dentistry, she completed a Bachelor of Science and Commerce at the University of New South Wales – she’s always been “curious about everything,” and that shows in the way she approaches care: thoughtful, thorough, and focused on the bigger picture.
Rhi’s priority is to make dental visits feel calm, clear, and genuinely supportive – especially if dental visits have felt stressful in the past. She takes the time to listen to what matters to you, explain options in straightforward language, and tailor care to your needs and goals.
Clinically, she has a particular interest in dentistry that restores function and confidence, such as rebuilding worn or damaged teeth and exploring options to replace missing teeth. She treats patients with the goal of providing long-term, functional treatment in line with their health goals – making sure to treat the patient, not just the teeth.
Rhi also cares deeply about public health, equality and oral health education – particularly supporting LGBTQIA+ patients and other marginalised communities to access judgement-free, affirming oral health care.
Outside the clinic, Rhi is a serial hobby collector. You’ll usually find her running, hiking, at the beach, rock climbing, playing netball, or chasing snow on the ski slopes. Her creative side rotates between jewellery making, baking, painting and film photography. – her next goal is to learn how to DJ 🙂
Meet Emily
Originally from Brighton, UK, Emily made the move to Australia two years ago and has since embraced life in Sydney. Growing up on a farm surrounded by ponies and four dogs, she developed a strong work ethic, a love for animals, and a naturally warm, down-to-earth personality, something patients immediately feel when they walk through our doors.
At beyondental, she works as a receptionist while also leading our social media and supporting the practice’s marketing direction. She’s often the first friendly face you’ll see at the front desk, ensuring every patient feels welcomed and comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Behind the scenes, she has a genuine passion for creating and editing fun, engaging content that reflects the personality of the clinic. From filming in-practice moments to jumping on trends and planning campaigns, she loves bringing creative ideas to life and helping beyondental stay connected with the community in a fresh, authentic way.
Now based in Bondi, she spends her free time enjoying festivals, events and the coastal lifestyle; bringing that same vibrant, energetic spirit into the practice every day.
